StayCaytions, Scuba & Summer Camps

Subject to Government approvals-  Ocean Frontiers Dive Shop, Compass Point Dive Resort and Eagle Ray's Bar & Grill will be back open for business as soon as we are permitted to do so and all necessary authorizations are in place.

Our focus for the summer months of July and August will be on the local domestic market for ‘StayCaytions’ at the resort for weekly or shorter stays, diving trips, classes and camps with the dive shop, with the added amenity of Eagle Ray's Bar & Grill for an open-air patio venue for your favorite food and beverages.

There will be lots on offer for families with kids for different age groups.  For kids 8 to 12 years old, PADI Seal Team Adventures will be running, teaching them how to scuba dive in a swimming pool environment with different activities for every session.  For the 10+ age group, they can become a scuba diver and earn their PADI Open Water Diver Certification.  For those that can't get enough of the ocean, you can sign your children up for one of our Marine Science Camps that is not only educational, but also includes activities in the ocean every morning and every afternoon.  Snorkel and scuba options will be available for the Marine Science Camps. Even for the young ones, 7 and under, we'll have fun activities for them too, with swimming, sandcastle building, arts and crafts and games.  What this all means is that the parents can go diving or just relax and we'll keep you kids busy, safe and show them the wonders the undersea world has to offer in the Cayman Islands.

You don't have to stay at Compass Point Dive Resort to participate in any of the activities or camps, or to visit the bar & grill on-site, day-trippers are welcome.  We even offer scuba birthday parties, where you can bring your birthday boy/girl and a small group of their friends for an afternoon to experieince scuba diving together.

Until the airport reopens, why not take advantage of the amazing opportunity and fulfill a lifelong wish of learning to scuba dive and have a little 'StayCaytion' at the same time.  Not only is it an incredible lifeskill for adults or kids, but you'll always be able to answer that question - "So you live in the Cayman Islands, are you a scuba diver?"

Packages and specials will be announced as soon as we get the all clear from the authorities - hopefully by 22nd June, with a target opening date of July, 3rd.  If you live in the Cayman Islands and would like to get away to the East End of Grand Cayman for a break, learn to dive, or do nothing at all, send us an email and we'll send you our reopening specials directly.
