PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course in the Cayman Islands

PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course in the Cayman Islands
Maximize your underwater time with nitrox, the world's top scuba specialty. This dry course offers PADI eLearning and hands-on instructor training. Gain this scuba superpower and dive longer today!

Trips Per Diver

The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course is a dry course that does not require any inwater training and therefore students are not required to fill out a diver medical. The course is split into the independent online eLearning course followed by the practical with a 30 minute hands-on orientation with an instructor at Ocean Frontiers.

The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox certification enables you to rent and dive with scuba tanks filled with enriched air up to 40% oxygen anywhere in the world. We offer a premium service to all our student divers by including the eLearning in our course price so there's less steps for you and more free-time spent learning and having fun. The course paperwork will also be sent ahead of your arrival to be filled out online to ensure there are no unexpected delays to the start of your course with us.

At Ocean Frontiers our company policy is that all divers wishing to do 4 dives in a day - a morning and afternoon 2 tank - must be nitrox certified and dive with nitrox tanks on the afternoon 2 tank. We highly recommend all divers that are diving all day to dive on nitrox throughout their dive trip.

Reasons to get Nitrox Certified

  • Extend your bottom time by reducing the nitrogen in your scuba tank
  • Have a more effective surface interval compared to an air diver
  • Have the ability to dive safer if diving on air profiles
  • Feel less fatigued after multiple dives especially over multiple days
  • Enables you to do more dives in a day without sacrificing bottom time

Prerequisites

  • Certified Open Water diver or higher
  • 10 years or older
  • Note: All course paperwork will be sent via email to be filled out online before the start date.

How do I get started with PADI eLearning?

Once you have booked and paid for your PADI course with us, we will send you a student registration Google Form to fill out with the necessary information we need to assign the PADI eLearning to each student that has signed up with you. This includes a unique email address per student, birthdate and legal names. You will then receive 2 emails directly from PADI. 1) is to create a PADI account and start the eLearning course 2) is the course paperwork including the Diver Medical which needs to be filled out before arriving.

How long do you have to complete the eLearning course?

You have lifetime access to the eLearning content, however the quizzes, exam and practical training all need to be completed within one year to meet the standards of a PADI course.

How do you document that you've completed the eLearning segment?

Once you finish the eLearning portion of the course, the Ocean Frontiers Dive Center is notified that you have completed it and that you are ready for the practical phase of the program.

I already bought the PADI eLearning, do I have to pay full price for the course with Ocean Frontiers?

No, you do not. Feel free to contact reservations@oceanfrontiers.com in respect to this and they will tailor a course package for you.
