Sea turtles have been around for more than 125 million years, yet we know surprisingly little about these majestic creatures. This program explores the biology and behavior of these graceful reptiles, from the massive leatherback to the nesting green turtle. This course is your chance to learn what makes a sea turtle a sea turtle, how they differ from other turtles, and how to identify various species.
By participating in the Sea Turtle Ecology program, you will gain the knowledge and skills to safely observe sea turtles and contribute to their conservation. You'll understand their ecological importance and the growing threats they face.
