The Marine Ecology course is the perfect complement to your diving experience in Grand Cayman. You will learn about the three critical ecosystems found right here in the East End: coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangrove forests. The course explains the vital linkages between them, such as how mangroves and seagrass beds act as nurseries for many of the juvenile fish you'll see on the reefs. This knowledge will transform your dives, giving you a deeper appreciation for the intricate underwater world you are exploring.
