Discover the thrill of deep diving in the Cayman Islands with our Deep Diver Specialty course. This course allows you to safely dive to depths of 130 feet / 40 meters, unlocking a world beyond the reach of recreational divers.
You’ll master essential skills for deep diving, such as gas management, buoyancy control, and emergency safety procedures, while exploring dramatic dive sites. Experience vibrant underwater walls, encounter unique marine life, and embrace the challenges and rewards of deep-water exploration. With expert guidance, you’ll gain the confidence and knowledge to safely dive deeper and unlock the wonders of the ocean’s depths.

Prerequisites
- Advanced Open Water Diver rating or higher
- At least 15 years old
- Medically fit to scuba dive (review Medical Questionnaire here)
- Note: All course paperwork will be sent via email to be filled out online before the start date.

To ensure you receive the best value under our scalable pricing structure, the 4 boat dives required for this specialty course must be booked separately.
FAQ
Once you have booked and paid for your course with us, we will send you a student onboarding email with 4 steps including providing student details, medical questionnaire, signing course paperwork and finally assigning eLearning. Once we have received the course paperwork, you will receive an email with the assigned eLearning. The email will have a special link asking you to a) create a an account or b) Login to your existing one. Once logged in it will give you access to the eLearning for your chosen course.
You have lifetime access to the eLearning content, however the quizzes, exam and practical training all need to be completed within one year to meet the course standards.
Once you finish the eLearning portion of the course, the Ocean Frontiers Dive Center is notified that you have completed it and that you are ready for the practical phase of the program.
