Lost Wall was so named because many divemasters would claim there was no wall on the most eastern face of Grand Cayman's reef system. Ocean Frontiers was the first operation to discover this area and played a key role in the mooring installation that opened it up to regular diving. It remains one of the less frequently dived sites on the East End circuit, which only adds to its appeal for divers looking to explore somewhere off the beaten track.
As one of the easternmost dive sites in the Ocean Frontiers repertoire, Lost Wall offers a raw and exposed stretch of reef wall with dramatic topography. The site is best experienced on a drift dive, which provides a natural and effortless way to cover the terrain and see more of the undisturbed sections of wall that far fewer divers have experienced.
