Following the natural progression of swim skill development, this program is the perfect stepping stone to learn stroke technique, build endurance, and establish readiness for club and team swimming.
Description
This course is for students of all ages who have achieved the Level 2 (Green) Swim School benchmarks. Students refine freestyle and learn stroke technique for backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, while developing endurance and enhancing water safety and life-saving rescue skills.

Requirements
Classes are grouped by age and ability. Following the Starfish Aquatics Institute (SAI) five-stage curriculum, each stage focuses on a different core competency. In order of progression White-Red-Yellow-Blue-Green, students work toward developing the five competencies and achieving the stage benchmarks at their own pace.
White - Freestyle
Red - Backstroke
Yellow - Butterfly
Blue - Breaststroke
Green - Endurance
Term Dates: July 9 - August 6 (5-weeks)
Youth (ages 6-12) - Saturdays 11:10 am - 12:00 pm
Teen (ages 13-17) -
Summer Term: CI $146: 5x 50-min classes

Your Instructor is an SAI certified Swim Instructor offering the highest quality instruction to promote safety and skill development in the water. They are further trained in Water Rescue, CPR & First Aid, and have completed Stewards of Children training through Darkness to Light.
